DAMAGES AGAINST FEDERATION OF LABOUR.
Auckland, August 12. At the Supreme Court to-day Thomas Walsh was awarded ,£SOO damages against the Federation of Labour lor libellous statements contained in a pamphlet, “Tragic Story of Waihi Strike.” The amount of the claim was £ IOOO.
