HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows : The hemp market is firm, with hardening tendency- There is general and active demand ; holders are firm. Good fair, 10s; fair, ,£27 10s ; Manila, £3l 10s. August-October good fair, £32 ; fair, £2B ; Manila, 10s. Output Manila, 19,000 bales.
