WEDEINGTON MEETING
The winter meeting of the Wellington Racing Club opened at Trentham yesterday, there being a very large attendance of the public. A little rain fell during the afternoon but not sufficient to interfere with the racing. The following are the results

Parliamentary Handicap.—Kilrain I, Domino 2, Sir Knox 3. Winter Hurdles, Marton 1, Peary 2, Stevens 3. Te Aro Handicap.—Teviotdale 1, Paoli 2, Heather 3.
