HIGH COMMISSIONER’S REPORT.
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows : The hemp market opened dull at last quotations, but has been improving, and now there is more demand, the market being somewhat steadier. Business has been done with fair 15s c.i.f., and good fair buyers offer 10s, possibly Manila £3O. Forward shipment good fair fair Manila ,£29 xos. Output of Manila for the week, 16,000 bales.
