MOTOR FATALITY.

Dannevirke, May 21.

Regarding the motor fatality at the Piripiri crossing yesterday, Roy Horace Dean was the son of the late Edwin Harland Dean, solicitor, Wellington. He was returning from a visit to his mother in Wellington, where he had been presented with a car and was motoring through to Napier. Miss Sweetapple, his fiancee, came from Napier and joined Dean at Napier. She was only in his company half an hour when the accident happened. An inquest will be held tomorrow, and the funeral will take place in Wellington on Friday. Deceased was only 21 years of age.
