FREEMASONRY.

The annual installation ceremony in connection with the local Masonic lodge took place yesterday afternoon. R.W. Bro. J. A. Nash, P.G.S.W., officiated as Installing Master and the Prov. G.M., R.W. Bro. T. A. Peterkin was also present and assisted at the The following officers were installed : W.M. Bro. W. Bullard ; J.W. Bro. Jno. Ross; S.W. Bro. Geo. Barber; Secretary, Bro. Hodgson; Treasurer, Bro. M. Perreau; S.W. Bro. Berry; J.D. Bro. Stevenson ; Chaplain, Wor. A. W. Bradley ; D.C. Wor. Bro. Hornblow ; Organist, Bro. Stiles ; I.G. Bro. J. Speirs; Tyler Wor. Bro. de Bidder ; S.S. Bro. Cowley ; J.S, Bro. C. H. Speirs; Auditors, Wor. Bros. Clemett and Healey. In the evening the brethren entertained visitors and lady friends at a social and dance. Wor. Bros. J. A. Nash, Clemett and Bro. Geo. Barber officiated as Ms’.C., and those present were welcomed on behalf of the Lodge by Wor. Bro. Hornblow. During the evening short addresses were given by the Provincial G. M. and Wor. Bro, Nash, The interior of the hall was prettily decorated and the floor in first-class order. The music was supplied by Mr Bertbold, and the catering was carried out very satisfactorily by Mr Walls. A most enjoyable time was spent by all.
