HIGH COMMISSIONER’S
REPORT,
ADVANCE IN PRICES.
The High Commissioner cabled at noon yesterday as follows : There is a better demand for hemp. The market is steady and holders firm. Good fair, £3l 10s; fair, 1 os; Manila, ; forward shipments, good lair, ; fair, 1 os; Manila, £33 10s. The output of Manila for the week was 15,000 bales.
