SATURDAY’S FIXTURES

Shannon v. Kimberley, at Kimberley. Foxton v. Hui Mai, at Foxton. Kcputaroa v. Levin-Wanderers, at Levin. Tainui a bye.
Owing to Koputaroa, Waitohu and Levin - Wanderers having withdrawn from the junior competition, it has been rendered necessary to re-arrange the junior fixtures for Saturday, which are as under: —
Weraroa v. Tainui, at Otaki. Shannon v. Foxton, at Foxton. Hui Mai v. Tokomaru, at Tokomartt.
The following team has been selected to represent Foxton seniors against Hui Mai on Saturday : J. Joe* E. J. Martin, Rore, J. Frankland, Taumaranui, Shamrock, Reihana, Hooker, Mansell, Wickham, Coley, Reid, Haeana, Robinson, Carter. Emer., backs, Irwin, forwards, Peri.
The junior team to play Shannon on the racecourse on Saturday will be selected from the following : J. and M. O’Reilly. F. Edlin, B. Currie, G. Irwin, Pira, B. Hooker, Rouse, W. Howe, J. Hennessy, E. Spring, W. Neville, R. Burnett, Mathew, J. Williams and Fryer.
There will be two games played on the racecourse on Saturday, the local seniors meeting Hui Mai and the juniors playing Shannon. The matches will commence at three o’clock* The referees are Messrs J. Desmond and 0. Cleland.
A meeting of footballers will be held in Mr Perreau’s rooms on Monday evening next when important business is to be transacted and a full attendance is therefore requested.
