Six prominent Maoris from Tahoraili left Danuevirke to-day for Auckland ea route for Salt Lake City. Although the depax tiag natives expressed Ibcix lulctuxon of making only a flying trip to the Mormon stronghold some of their friends are doubtful if they will return to New Zealand.
It is reported that each of the tourists has taken £SOO with him and leased his New Zealand land to tenants for six months.
