A meeting of the Foxton Harbour Board will be held at Palmerston North ou Thursday, 22nd inst.,do consider the position of the Board and arrange for a representative deputation to wait upon the Premier and the Minister for Railways to renew the endeavour to arrive at a settlement for the purchase of the Foxton wharf. The following locaV authorities have been invited to send delegates to this meeting Horowheuua County Council, Devin Borough Council, Devin Chamber of Commerce, Palmerston North Borough Council, Palmerston N. Chamber of Commerce, Palmerston N. Auctioneers’ Association, Kairan'ga County Council, Foxton Borough Council, Manavvatu County Council, P'eilding Borough Council, Feilding Chamber of Commerce. The following members of Parliament have also been invited to attend; —D. H. Guthrie Esq., J. Robertson Esq., E. Newman Esq., D. Buick Esq.
