GAOL BREAKERS.

TWO SUSPECTS AT LARGE,

Sometime on Sunday evening between 5 and 7 o’clock two men escaped from the Palmerston N. gaol. Their names and descriptions are as fallows :

John Fairley, aged 29, was awaiting trial lor alleged Housebreaking at Palmerston North. He stands about sft. high, has dark complexion and slight dark moustache, and was dressed in blue serge clothes. George Groves, aged about 31, awaiting trial for alleged forgery at Palmerston North. Stands sft. Sins, high; is clean shaven and fair ; dressed in a grey suit. The police will be glad to receive news of their whereabouts.
