ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW

The pictures at the Coronation Town Hall to-morrow night contain two startling and exciting films, both of them stars, one 2090 feet and the other 3000 feet. ‘‘The Mystery of the 7 o'clock Express” is a thrilling detective story full of mystery as is seen by the title. All through we witness cunning roguery, but as the old adage has it, justice will out. The other “Fra Diavolo,” by the Solax Company, is an absorbing plot alive with sensational incidents. Between the scheming of Fra Diavolo and the plans for his capture, there is a stage coach hold-up and a sensational struggle on a precipice. “Fra Diavolo” is an out law with the graceful swagger of a cavalier, and the confidence and self assurance of the man of cunning and devilry and the bold brigand of the Italian forest whose real identity is enveloped in mystery. Other films are, “ The Voice of Conscience,” by the Essanay Company- An extraordinary and enthralling drama, powerful in plot and magnificently portrayed. The terrible ordeal undergone by a conscience—'guilty man, until fate wrings the truth from him. Two fine scenics are also on the board, “ Andella ” and, “Through Greece.” The funny films are funnier still, “A Honeymoon Trip ” and Hawkeye Showman.” “Hawkeye’s” show and his marvellous trick to draw the audience, you must laugh when it does not come off, and disaster overtakes Hawkeye.
