HOSPITAL REPRESENTATION.

Reduced representation on the Palmerston District Hospital and Charitable Aid Board has been gazetted. The number of members on the Board has been cut down from fifteen to nine. The combined district of Manawatu and Foxton borough will be reduced from three to two ; Palmerston North two (formerly four); Kiwitea County, one ; Pohangina County, one; Oroua County, one ; Feilding Borough, one; Kairanga County Council, one. At the last meeting of the Board, a motion was passed almost unanimously opposing any reduction, but the Czar is obdurate.
