THE POPE’S HEALTH.
Rome, April 8.
The Pope gave audience to a number of prelates yesterday, and was in bis usual health, but he fainted in his study in the evening.
The weakness of the heart causes anxiety, and symptoms of neuritis are observed.
The official bulletin declares the illness is only an influenza relapse. The Pope suffered a relapse. His temperature is 100. He is suffering from acute Bright’s disease.
