MANAWATU R.C. MEETING
The Manawatu Racing Club’s autumn meeting opened yesterday in excellent weather conditions. The attendance was good and some fine racing was provided. The sum of ,£17,608 was put through the machine, as against ,£22,430 tor the first day last year. Following are the results : Karere Hurdle Handicap. —Sam Pan 1, Aetna 2. Kauroa 3. Time, 3tnin iqsec.
