MAN BURNT TO DEATH.

Feieding, April 7. Some boys were out shooting in the Carnarvon district and saw a fire in the distance at 3 o’clock on Sunday morning. In the afternoon when passing in the vicinity; they made an inspection, and found that a caravan on wheels had been destroyed. On examining the remains one boy, W. Holman, was horrified to find the remains of a man lying across a stretcher. The man had evidently been suffocated whilst asleep. The man has been identified as N. Marshall, engaged on a road metalling contract.
