VETERAN PRINTER BURIED. CaaiSTCHURCH, March 27, The funeral of -the late Mr G. S. Porter, the printer who reached his 1 ooth birthday on Tuesday week last, took place at Addington cemetery this morning.

A large and' representative gathering of old gentlemen friends met at his late residence, where a short service was conducted. At the grkveside there gathered around many who had known Mr Porter for long years past, and who esteemed him very highly lor bis sterling worth. A large number of wreaths covered the casket, including one sent by the Canterbury Ty pographical Society.
