PICTURE SHOW
The programme for Saturday night is now advertised and you can see it is good, every item. The latest “ Pathe Gazette,” (he world’s news day by day. “ Why Jim Reformed,” the powerful story of a drunkard’s regeneration, by the Selig Company. “The Good For Nothing,” a Lubin film telling how a farmer’s sou who was a failure in the city, returns to the tarra and soon becomes a power in the little town. A splendid Vitagraph drama entitled “The Craven,” and “The Substitute Model” by the Selig Company. A very interesting film is “ The Empire Maker,” and a natural, history subject, “ The Life of a Heron.” The comic element is real funny. A screaming comic, “ A Day in Loudon.” “His First Auto ” is another good laughter producer. AKalem comedy, “ Paying the Board Bill ” will be a warm favourite. “ Those Grassville Girls,” by the Essanay Company, a humorous summer escapade proving that all ‘ things comes to he who waits. Picturesque in scenic and beauty. The Grassville girls are full of tricks and the boys are quite as bad. but all’s well that ends well, so the ending of this very pretty little comedy will be satisfactory.
