WEDDING.

A wedding which created a good deal of local interest was celebrated at Woodville on Monday last, when Mr Charles Richard, son of our esteemed townsmen. Mr A. King, was united to Miss Ruth Ellen, second daughter of Mr George Pike, of Church Street, Palmerston North. The ceremony was performed at the residence of Mr T. Jackson by Staff-Captain Wallace. The bride, who was given away by Mr Jackson, was attended by Lieutenants Clark and Gudsell, while Mr Roland Hart officiated as best man. The bride and bridegroom were the recipients of many useful and handsome presents, together with the best wishes of a host of friends. Mr and Mrs King will take up their residence in Foxton.
