. On Friday last a team journeyed iu from Himatangi to try conelusions with a team from the local club, and a most enjoyable day was spent on the range. .Ihe scores could have been 1 better, but considering that most members were out of practice and that it was the first day ou the local range for a majority of the men, the totals are fair. The bright sun was very troublesome, especially, later iu the afternoon when the marksmen had I to shoot right into the glare. Many points were lest through shots being put on to the wrong targets, Foxton in particular being very unfortunate in this respect.
