We have received the following acknowledgment, together with the official receipt, for contributions from local subscribers, forwarded to Dr Barnardo’s Homes : “Dear Sir,—lt has given me much pleasure to receive through the manager of the Bank of New Zealand, Foxton, the sum of 8s xod forwarded on your behalf, in aid of the funds of these Homes.
