Owing to Palhe Freres’ decision to abolish middlemen and deal direct with exhibitors, ninety film-renting firms threaten a boycott.

It is estimated that have been invested in the United Kingdom in the cinematograph business'and that there are twentyeight million visitors weekly.

Sydney, February 21st,

A meeting of the Picture Showmen’s Association carried a strong protest against film amalgamations and an alleged attempt to prevent the purchase of films outside the amalgamation.
