FOXTON RIFLE CLUB.
A well-attended meeting of the Foxton Rifle Club was held last night, the President, Mr G. O. Barber occupying the chair. It was decided that shooting for the President’s trophy be re- , commenced to-morrow afternoon ] at 2 o’clock, the competition to > conclude on Saturday, the 29th instant.
An endeavour is to be made to arrange a match with the Himatangi Club at Foxton on Good Friday. In view of this match members are requested to get in as much practice as possible. The resignation of the secretary, Dr. Adams, was tendered and accepted with extreme regret, and Mr K. H. Furrie was elected to fill the vacancy. One new member was elected and other routine business transacted after which the meeting terminated.
