THE BUTCHERS’ AWARD.
W. J. Culver, Inspector ot Awards, proceeded against Charles Thomas Easton, at yesterday’s sitting of the Magistrate’s Court, to recoyer the sum of ,£io as a penalty for a breach of the Butchers’ Award by employing William Bowling during the months of August, September and October as a general hand aud failing to pay him the wages required by the said award. The breach was admitted, and an explanation tendered. The Magistrate gave judgment for
