Mr Harvey, a member of the local Bowling Club, has presented a trophy for a doubles competition, for which the following entries have been received and handicaps allotted Stunnell and Petrie scr., Walker and Barber scr., Whibley and Spring scr., Woods and Speirs scr., Witchell and Green scr., Rimmer and Adams 3, Harvey and Ross 3, Hennessy and Perreau 5, Clemett and Freeman 6. The first game in the competition was played yesterday afternoon, Whibley and Spring defeating Walker and Rarber. The •scores were 22 to 14-
