ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW

Seldom do we find two star films on one programme, but there are two for Saturday night. “Nellie, the Lion Tamer,” a sensational drama in which a number of lions play subordinate but effective parts. In it we find graphic scenes of circus life from the front and behind the scenes. Effective acting and strength of plot, combined with more than one thrilling scene in the lion’s cage, makes a superb photoplay. “The Charge of the Light Brigade,’’ all of us remember that stirring poem, “Half a league, half a league, half a league onward,” describing the wonderful bravery of out soldiers in that great historical battle. A representation ol the “Charge of the Light Brigade” will be screened on Saturday night, and those who have seen it describe it as a thrilling and realistic sight. Other dramas are, “Bandit’s Mask” aud “Dorothy’s Bandits.” Two fine scenics are, “Seeing Detroit” aud “Along the Adriatic.” Real good hearty laughs are to be found ju, “Mr Stout goes to Dine,” “Hobo Club,” aud " Fuunicus as a Painter.” The latter is the tale of a servant, who, when dusting his master’s room finds a lion asleep on the sofa, it is a novel subject of splendid quality, and gives some interesting close views of the animal performer.
