ALLEGED FORGERY.
Auckland, Last Night
Francis Shortall Lloyd, a passenger on the Maheno, was arrested on a charge of the forgery at Sydney of an order directing a firm to purchase 150,000 shares of the Greater J. D. Williams’ Amusement Coy., with intent to defraud.
The sum of was in his possesion. He was remanded to Sydney.
