FRUIT FROM HASTINGS.

Mr S. Barnard, representing Mr. J. W. Walker, the well-known Hastings orchnrdist. is on a business visit to Foxton in an eudeavour to open up a direct fruit trade between local householders and the Hastings orchard, Mr Barnard will call on townspeople with samples and take orders. Mr Barnard states that the fruit should arrive the day following order. The following are the prices for first grade fruit: —241 b. cases peaches 3s. 6d., plums ditto, cooking apples prime 6s. 6d. 401 b. case- Mr Barnard’s address is care of Mrs Wright, Ravensworth Place.
