ENTERTAINMENTS.

THELMA PETERSEN CONCERT.

All lovers of music in Foxton will look forward to Miss Thelma Peterson’s concert which takes place on Monday, the 13th, at the Coronation Town Hall, for which a capital programme has been arranged. Miss Peterson will be beard in some of her finest numbers and will be assisted by Miss Edna Stuart, a brilliant pianist, also those taking part are: Mesdames Hall, Boyes, Miss Signal, Messrs, Yates, Cook, Jeuks, Buglass and Hooker. Apart from the merit of the programme the point to remember is, that it is an effort to assist a New Zealand girl of exceptional talent to procure the advantage of a thorough musical training, and given that there is every reason to hope that Miss Peterson may become one of the world's artists. We hope that this will not be forgotten and that acting upon the principle, that the many can help the one, the town hall will be crowded on Monday evening next.
