ALL SAINTS CHURCH.
Says this week’s Church Chronicle; A Sunday school has been opened at Moutoa under the charge ol Miss Cresswell. So far the children are attending well, as mauy come from a fair distance. At a vestry meeting it was decided to alter the gas in the Church as the light is anything but good. By the efforts of Messrs Crowe
and Nickels this is to be done at * once, when new pipes will be laid down, and instead of the two big lights in the Church, there will be eight smaller ones placed so as to light up all parts of the Church. By the untiring zeal of Mr Boyes, gas is to be laid in the vicarage. Mr Boyes has received some dona-
tions towards the expense, and the vestry has voted £5 to the
fund. This will greatly improve the vicarage property and the vicar wishes to express his gratitude for this comfort and saving of labour. - „
