DR. BARNARDO’S HOMES.
We have received a further xos towards the funds of the above deserving institution from Mr James Graham, making a total ot los o£io was from an anonymous donor), which we have handed to the local manager of the Bank of New Zealand, to forward on. We regret that a larger sum is not forthcoming this year, but local deserving cases have needed attention, and our small population has had several calls on its charity of late, and has responded in a very liberal manner. Altogether, Foxtou has contributed nearly to the Barnardo institution this year, which must be considered very satisfactory.
