At the Supreme Court to-day, Henry Mather was sentenced to eighteen mouths’ imprisonment for indecent assault.
Wtc. Black, alias James, and Gilbert James Dunwoodle, charged with stealing money, a watch, a purse, a railway ticket and a luggage check, were acquitted. Leo. Arthur Arnold Copeland Borauoff was convicted of having stolen a gold watch, a gold muff chain and a pair of spectacles, and sentence was deferred. The charge against Dr O. Russell was adjourned till the next session as a witness for the Crown is absent from the Dominion.
