The Anglican Synod adopted a resolution, moved by Canon Archdali, for presentation to the King and Par!.» protesting against the Home Kale Bill as being unjust lu a local section of the Irish people, provocative of civil war iu Ireland, aud threatening the stability of the Empire by placing the traditional enemy of Protestant principles —the Court of Rome in a position to carry out intolerant piiucipies aud effect a total separation of Ireland from the British Crown.
