SERIOUS CHARGES.
A somewhat sensational arrest was made in Wellington yesterday by Detective-Sergeant Cassells.
The person apprehended is William Knox, a tailor, of Dixon Street.
The charges against him are of a very serious nature, and concern two young girls, one of 17 years, the other of 19 years. This morning Knox was brought before the Magistrate’s Court on four charges of his having used an instrument for illegal purposes.
