THE MISSING SHIPS COOK.

BODY FOUND

A body of a man, supposed to be that of David Lynn, the cook who was reported missing from the s.s. Gertie about a month ago, was found washed up at Hartley’s bend this morning. The body was first seen by Captain Rogers, of the s.s. Gertie, who saw it as the steamer was coming up th the river. Upon arrival at the wharf he reported the matter to the police. The body was subsequently brought up and placed in the morgue. It is in a very decomposed state. An inquest will be held tomorrow-

The funeral will take place tomorrow, leaving the morgue at half-past two.
