The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., and Reduced, report: At Himatangi on Monday we had a good entry of cattle and effected a total clearance at recent good prices. Quotations : Cattle—Yearlings (small) £2 to £2 os 6d, small yearling heifers yearling heifers £3 15s, yearling heifers (Holstein cross) £4 7s 6d, 2-yr empty heifers £4 2S to £4 Bs, yearling steers £2 16s 6d, store cows £2 15s to £3 7s 6d, forward cows £3 17s, heifers in calf £5 10s to 15s, springing heifers £6 5s to £7 2S 6d, cows in calf £4 2s 6d, 2 heavy draughts realised £42 each.
