MR CEIMIE CONFERS WITH

At last night’s meeting, xVIr H. W. Climie attended at the invitation of the Council tor the purpose ot discussing the proposed water aud drainage scheme. The matter was dealt with in committee and the following motion was carried on resuming business; Proposed by the Mayor aud seconded by Cr bpeirs, that owing to the lime that has elapsed since making his first report and estimate and the altered conditions aud higher prices tor material that now prevail Mr Climie be asked to make an amended report aud estimate upon the high pressure water supply and drainage scheme tor Foxton.
