BOROUGH TREASURER'S REPORT.

The Borough Treasurer submitted the following report showing the position of the finances of the borough, at last night’s Council meeting :

“Since the last monthly meeting of the Cuuncil, £725 is fid has been paid into the district fund account, and £1 10s Into the' cemetery account. The Bank balances this day were : District fund account, .£398 19s 2d ; cemetery account, £6 4s 7d ; Beach road loan account, £76 xos 4d, all at credit.

“The separate accounts at credit are: Reserves account, £46 4s fid ; cemetery account, £4 17s id ; sanitation account, £ro 3s 3d; Beach road loan, £43 6s xxd ; interest account, £377 11s od. “The separate accounts overdrawn are: General account, £rfix 4s xod ; library account, £2 15 s ; gas works account, £302 69 xid ; Town Hall account, £3B xßs 3d.”
