YOUNG MAN’S SUICIDE.
HANGING FROM A RAFTER. Dunedin, Sept. 6. About 2 p.m. cn Wednesday John Nicol, aged twenty-seven years, left his parents’ home in Morniugton, ostensibly to go for a walk. No trace of him was found till 4.45 p.m. to-day, when he was discovered by his brother, hanging from a rafter in the cellar below the house —a very secluded spot. Deceased had been in ill health for some time.
