The N.Z. Loan and Mercantile Agency Coy., Ltd., and Reduced report:—At Rangiotu on Monday a fair entry of cattle met with good competition, and sold readily at late rates. Quotations Yearling heifers, £2 19s : store cows, 39s 6d to £2 xxs : forward cows, £3 4s to £?> 14s ; fat and forward cows, £4. ns ; fat cows, £$ 2s 6d to £5 los ; cows in calf, £5 10s ; cow with calf, ,£4 ; heifers in calf, £4. 2S 6d ; springing heifers, 17s 6d to £5 5s ; bulls, £2 15s. At Raumal on Tuesday, we had a good yarding of cattle. There was a keen demand, and every pen sold under the hammer at prices in favour of the vendors. Quotations : Sheep ; Forward ewes, 13s nd. Cattle: Weauers (bad colours), 22s 6d ; yearling heifers, £3 ns to £3 17s 6d ; fifteen-months heifers, £4 5s ; eighteen-months heifers, £4 10s; yearling steers (bad colours), 36s ; forward cows, 12s; fat cows, £6 ; springing heifers (two-year-olds), £5 5s to £6 ss, and £7 12s 6d to £9 5s for three-year-olds ; cows in calf, £4 5s to £6 5s ; sound dairy cows, springing, £7 15s to j£i3 5s ; bulls, £3 17s 6d.
