BOROUGH FINANCES.

At Monday night’s Council meeting the Borough Treasurer presented his monthly report,'which was read and is as follows :

“Since my last report was read 2s 6d has been paid into the district fund account, the bank balances this day were: district fund account ,£i64 19s 3d, cemetery account &I2 4s yd and beach road loan x6s, all at credit. Of the separate accounts those overdrawn are: General account £6l 6s 4d, sanitation account £g6 3s gd, gas works account ,£176 ios 3d, town hall account 5s 2d ; while the following are in credit : Library account £1 5s ud, reserves account £2l 10s, cemetery account £$ 7s id, beach road loan 6s ud, interest accounts 145,”
