Messrs Millar and Giorgi, the great outfitters, Palmerston N., have a change advt. in this issue. Messrs Clark and Thompson, of Palmerston North, notify by advertisement having opened up twelve bales of wallpapers. Patterns sent on application to any part of the district.
Messrs Mounsey and Co. advertise a clearing sale on behalf of Mr A. E. Shadbolt, at the racecourse, on Monday next, August 19th, at I p.nx. As Mr Shadbolt is leaving the district all the goods will be sold absolutely without reserve. The annual meeting of the Foxtoh Racing Club will be held in the Council Chambers on Tuesday, August 20th, at 8 p.m., to receive the annual report and balance sheet and election of stewards. Nominations for stewards close with the secretary on the 16th insl.
