ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
Westport, July 28. The body of Lionel Dorney, a fireman on the s,s. Taviuni, who was drowned in the Buffer river about three weeks ago, was found near the cattle wharf at Westport on Saturday. Wellington, July 28. Joseph Dickson, a single man, between 30 and 35 years old, while cycling in Moleswortb Street, Wellington (which has a sharp incline £0 the Quay) on Saturday evening .received a fall through his machine skidding. He was taken to the hospital unconscious, and this afternoon had not regained consciousness. Auckland, July 29. Alary Jane Wittingham, aged 49, married, a resident of Wellington Street, died suddenly after a fit of coughing. A dead body, supposed to he that of Samuel Wadsworth, a sailor, who was washed off the scow Era, on June 30th, has been found at Molutapu beach. A woman named Lottie Olivesou was admiitcLi to the hospital unconscious as the result of catholic acid poisouiug on Saturday night. She has since regained consciousness.
