STOCK REPORT.
The New Zealand Doan and Mercantile Agency Company, Dimited, and Reduced, report; — At Palmerston North, on Thursday, a moderate entry ot sheep and cattle came forward, i’he sheep sold well and a good clearance was effected. Quotations.— Aged ewes in lamb, 12s 4d; 2,4, 6, and f.m. Dincoln Cross ewes in lamb, 17s. Cattle. —Old cows, 21s to £2 is ; forward cows, £3 7s to £2 16s; backward heiters, £3 12s ; good fat cows, £4 17s to £6 ; forward bullocks, £7 18s ; aged dairy cows, 7s 6d ; springing cows, £6 to £7.
