MOUOTA DRAINAGE BOARD.

The ordinary meeting of the Moutoa Drainage Board was held last night. Present: —Messrs Gower (chairman), Hammond, F. S. Fasten and O. Robinson, The minutes ol the last meeting were read dud confirmed. The action of the chairman and secretary in affixing the seal to the debentures was coufirmea. The overseer reported that seven chains of drain had been constructed during the month, leaving 44 chains to be completed. The crane-driver was giving every satisfaction. Messrs Gower and Hammond were appointed delegates to represent the Board at the Drainage Boards conference to be held at Palmerj ston IN. on Monday next. Accounts amounting to were passed for payment.
