ENTERTAINMENTS.

PICTURE SHOW,

Some more splendid films for Saturday night. “ The Inner Mind ” is a stirring detective drama by the Selig Company. “As in a Rooking Glass,” a thrilling drama by the famous A.B. Company, and “The Teamster,” a Rubin drama second to none. “The Riving Peach,” % a beautifully acted comedy. A 1 young man takes his infirm father to the country, where he engages a cottage next to Judge Porter, who has a fine peach tree which grows between the two houses. The story winds round the peach tree, and the young man; the judge’s daughter, who was a school mate of the boy, and the beautiful fruit oi the tree. “Whose who in Doggie-land,” an interesting, educational subject, dealing in detail with twenty-six different varieties of the canine tribe. “ Willie Wise and His Motor Boat.” This story introduces a youth whose self esteem makes him believe himself equal to any emergency. To eclipse a rival youth whose sail boat has charmed the girl he aaores, he buys a motor boat. When out he suddenly realises the ways of a gasoline engine are too much for him, he tries all the various handles but in vain, after many ludicrous mistakes in which he covers his face > and clothes with grease, a small boy rows up and scornfully shows him how easy it is to start the motor. “ Caught with the Goods ” is a fine comic in which the Biograph sleuths again almost catch the real criminals. There are may other fine films among the number, a beautiful scenic of “ Wild Western Ireland,” also the ever interesting “ Australian Gazette.”
