There was a good yarding of both sheep and cattle, all classes meeting with keen competition resulting in a good clearance. Quotations : Sheep—Lambs 7s 3d to 8s 2d, woolly lambs 10s 6d, aged ewes in lamb 9s 3d, forward wethers 14s. Cattle Weauers, inferior, 19s 6d to 255, wearier steers 37s to £2 is. weauer Holstein cross heifers £2 10s, store cows 36s to £2 14s, forward cows £3 16s to £4 3-s, fat cows to £5, cows in calf £2 10s to £4 12s 6d, good dairy cows in calf £5 to £j, oackward heifers in call £4 5s to £4 xos, forward heifers in calf £6 17s 6d, 2-yr steers £4 ss, bulls £3.
