ENTERTAINMENTS.

SKATING. There was a fair attendance at Municipal Skating Rink on Tuesday night, when a most enjoyable night’s “rolling” was spent by those present. This fascinating pastime still remains popular and nearly every night some newcomer may be seen trying to learn the art of roller skating. The majority of this season’s learners may now be seen in the big hall, and give promise of becoming very graceful skaters. The rink will be open to-night and tomorrow night. There is a little dissatisfaction expressed among the gentlemen skaters in reference to not being allowed to put their own skates on in the dressing room, and as it was allowed only a lew ui o ui,s Davie u is not a fair thing to stop it now. No doubt this could be remedied it the gentlemen skaters formed in a body and approached the manager in reference to same. If this was done the male patrons attending the rink would know exactly what to do, as it is very unsatisfactory to them the way things are at present.
