BOROUGH TREASURER’S REPORT.

The Borough Treasurer submitted the following report on the position of the borough finances at last night’s Council meeting: — Since reading my last report, I have paid into the district fund account the sura of 19s qd, and into the cemetery account ,£8 10s.

The Bank balances this day were as follow : District fund account, ,£642 2s 6d ; cemetery ac count, £8 14s yd ; Beach road loan account, £529 10s, all at credit. The separate accounts in credit are: Reserves account, 3s gd ; cemetery account, 14s yd ; interest account, £735 as sd ; beach road loan account, £496 12s yd. The separate accounts overdrawn are: General account, £232 2s 2d ; library account, £4 15s rod ; gas works account, £23 14s 3d ; sanitation account, £65 12s rid ; Town Hall account, £lO6 13s 1 id.
