ENTERTAINMENTS.

SKATING

The municipal rink was fully taxed again on Thursday and last evening by skating enthusiasts, the demand for skates being such as to exhaust the supply, and more than one would-be patron were disappointed. The floor was in good order, and both evenings passed very enjoyably. The attendance of onlookers was very fair last evening. Next week the rink will be open on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings, and a special session for ladies will be held on Tuesday afternoon, from 2 o’clock till 4. This will afford a special opportunity to the fair sex to enjoy two hours skating exclusively for ladles, and no doubt they will take full advantage ot it.
